Wer sich nachhaltig engagiert, stößt soziale Veränderungen an. Mit einer freiwilligen Tätigkeit in der Palliative Care möchten wir Dich ermutigen und inspirieren. Du kannst zusammen mit unseren Mitarbeiter*innen eigene Ansätze und Projekte für eine menschenwürdige Begleitung am Ende des Lebens entwickeln und lokal umzusetzen. Eine starke palliative Begleitung lebt von aktiven Menschen aus allen Kulturen. Deine kreative, projektbezogene Teilhabe ist gefragt. Deine Hilfe verbindet. Sie sichert soziale Gerechtigkeit und Selbstbestimmung bei schwerer Krankheit.

Building bridges in Palliative Care
Be part of those, who are committed to long term social change. We would like to encourage and inspire you with voluntary work in palliative care. Together with our employees, you can develop your own approaches and projects for humane care at the end of life. Strong Palliative Care depends on active people from all cultures. Your creative, project-related participation is needed. Your help connects people. It ensures social justice and self-determination in the event of serious illness.

Wir suchen Menschen, die sich mit ihrer Muttersprache und ihren Fremdsprachenkenntissen kranken Menschen zuwenden.
Dieses können Sie als
- Hospizhelfer*in im langfristigen Engagement im Hospiz und der Palliative Care,
- im Allgemeinen Ehrenamt im mittelfristigen Engagement bei der Unterstützung im Hospiz, am digitalen Arbeitsplatz, in der Küche und im Garten,
- oder kurzfristig, projektorientiert und niedrigschwellig als Brücken-bauer*in und Kulturmediator*in (außerhalb des direkten Patienten-Kontaktes) tun.
Die Veranstaltung ist online. Es wird konsekutiv deutsch/englisch übersetzt.

We are looking for people who use their native or foreign language skills to encounter with the sick and dying. You may do this as
- hospice volunteer in long-term commitment to hospice and palliative care,
- in general volunteer work in medium-term commitment to support the hospice function, in the digital workplace, in the kitchen and in the garden,
- or in the short term, project-oriented cultural mediator. Beyond the direct patient contact we always search for low-threshold abilities in the community work.
The event is online.
There will be consecutive German/English translation.
