For this event we are partnering up with the German American Institute Saarland and the Miami University John E. Dolibois European Center, Luxembourg.
When discussing the war against Ukraine, one crucial element is often missing: the voices of Ukrainians directly impacted by the war. In our event, we want to highlight the input and thoughts of two young Ukrainian women who will share their perspectives on the on-going war, their hopes for the future and their assessment of the role that the international community has been playing so far. Participating digitally directly from Ukraine, Nina Bondar and Ivanna Malchevska can provide an authentic and realistic glimpse of what it means to live and work in a country at war. The event is moderated by Dr. Fraziska Davies, historian at the LMU Munich.
